Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council (TRAHC) is opening its second location, dedicated to providing arts experiences for all ages and levels of experience. The building at 518 Pine is working in conjunction with TRAHC’s original location on 321 West Fourth Street.

“We believe that the arts are for everyone, and our second location exemplifies this. It’s a space where all ages can find their creative voice, try something new or hone their artistic skills,” Executive Director Jennifer Unger said.

The new PIne Street location will host classes in a variety of disciplines, offering opportunities to explore everything from painting to ceramics to movement-based arts. Designed to inspire creativity and connect the community, this space represents an expansion of TRAHC’s vision for accessible arts education.

Most classes that TRAHC offers will move to the new location in the coming months, while the public art galleries will continue at the Fourth Street location.

“We have had a few adult classes there, including our weekly mosaics group and several clay classes. We will have several more adult classes beginning in early February, along with all of our youth classes,” Visual Arts Coordinator Marcus Zwiebel said.
