A groundbreaking is taking place later this year on Wild Spring Dunes north of Nacogdoches near Mount Enterprise in Rusk County. The 2,400-acre public destination golf resort should have fairways and flags by September 2025 with residential and hospitality develops soon to follow.
Wild Spring Dunes is a new Dream Golf Resort being developed by Michael and Chris Keiser. The location joins Dream Golf’s growing collection of destination resorts that today include Bandon Dunes (Oregan), Sand Valley (Wisconsin), and Rodeo Dunes (Colorado). The Keisers promise “soul-stirring golf built in harmony with the land, employees who welcome you like family, and destinations that embrace the rugged beauty of their natural environments.”
Set on sandy, secluded acres, the Wild Spring property has dramatic elevation changes that highlight four distinct and diverse ecosystems: towering pines and hardwood forest; open, grassy meadows; rolling hills; and steep ravines carved by spring-fed creeks that crawl through the secluded site.
Michael Keiser says, “Wild Spring Dunes is an escape, a destination, a place to come together in community — a home for golf and wilderness lovers alike.
“This land surprised me. I would never have imagined this kind of property in Texas. The pine forests. The steep ravines. The big hills surrounding it. You walk the site, and it’s always changing, and you can see golf holes on every part of it.”
