An annual international juried art show, TSHOW (Tyler Art Show), is on exhibition at Gallery Main Street in Downtown Tyler through March 3.
Artwork includes paintings, photography, drawings, sculpture, and assemblage that were selected from 547 entrees. The entrees were judged by Christopher M. Leahy, retired Executive Director of the Tyler Museum of Art, and curated by artist Dace Kidd. Only 21 pieces were selected by artists from Texas, Colorado, California, Florida and United Kigndom. Participating artists are Wilma Allgood, Norman Aragones, Darla Barolini, John Calabrese, Scott Carter, Fran Cooper, Michele Hindman, Anne Marie Johnson, Angela Ko, Teri Liptak, David Mikita, Melissa Moore, Stephanie Nickel, Jesse Nickell, Mark Renner, Shaun Roberts, Margaret Scott, Suzie Seerey-Lester, Jerry Smith, and Randall Steinke.
TSHOW is a series of international juried shows, previously known as AASH (Arcadia Art Show). Through the nonprofit Tyler Art Lift, TSHOW offers cash prizes of $2000 for best in show, $1000 for runner-up, and $500 for people’s choice.
Gallery Main Street is located at 110 North College Avenue, Suite 105 and is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
